Program
Manager/Project Lead – EAM (Enterprise
Asset Mgmt)
Candidates
will only be considered if they have past experience as a Program
Manager/Project Lead for an (EAM) Enterprise
Asset Management
system implementation using: MRO Maximo, SAP – Product Maintenance,
Maximus – LinearFocus or Spear Technology’s Linear Asset
Management software.
Position Summary
This position requires a professional,
who is highly experienced in the acquisition and implementation of
Enterprise Asset Management applications for an Enterprise that maintains
Linear Assets.
The candidate will report to the Senior Program Director Engineering
Systems and will oversee the configuration and implementation of an
Enterprise Asset Management system by a System Integrator.
The primary responsibilities are the coordination
of all the individual team’s deliverables, which
includes the systems integrator, the project business
owner, the interfaces,
and the infrastructure.
The candidate will also work with Procurement, Engineering and Information
Technologies staff to generate an RFP for the Systems Integrator and
assist in the evaluation of responses.
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the overall budget
and providing weekly and monthly status reports
Required JobQualifications/Competencies
- Project Management Professional
Certification
- Demonstrated experience working with Requests for Proposals,
both the creation and evaluation of responses
- Demonstrated knowledge of Operations processes
and information technology systems, prefer experience with transportation
or Utility
Linear Asset management applications
- Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management
or Work Management Systems implementation and support
- Group Dynamics, management and coordination of
diverse groups. Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze business
functions and
processes and results
- Demonstrated ability to document and explain
business functions and processes using a structured approach
- Experience supporting maintenance services, transportation
or utility company for 7-10 years in a similar role and responsibility
- Ability to organize information and manipulate
data into clear and understandable reports
- Demonstrated ability using MS Office, flowcharting
and/or other depiction products as well as presentation products
and approaches
- Demonstrated ability to understand the
integrated nature of business functions and anticipate the impact
of changes in one on
the others.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
MA or MS in business or information technology preferred.
Equivalent work experience can be substituted for desired level of
formal education. Examples of related areas are: Transportation, Logistics,
Computer Science, Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing,
or Operations Research.
8+ years related work experience selecting and
implementing Enterprise Asset Management Systems
for Linear Asset based firms.
Experience with one of
the premier transportation maintenance management
systems; prefer experience
with MRO – Maximo, SAP – Plant Maintenance,
Spear Technology – Linear Assets or Maximus – Linearfocus
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Generate an RFP and contract for a
systems integrator to implement EAM
- Review Engineering business functions to identify
what changes are necessary to obtain full benefits
from the EAM
- Oversight of project budget, schedule and quality
of effort for all teams working on the EAM;
includes the systems integrator, the Information Technology
interface team, the subject matter experts
and the Information Technology infrastructure team.
- Assists the Project Business Owner to identify
and document requirements and business process
changes
